My Education Quiz Play, MEQP, Begins Search for Intellectual Gladiators.

The students' television quiz show, My Education Quiz Play, (MEQP) is set to engage Senior Secondary School students, undergraduates and postgraduates in an intellectual battle, as it starts to shoot fresh episodes on Friday 8^th and Saturday 9^th March, 2013.
The brightest students in the Senior Secondary School category will be rewarded with cash prizes ranging from N10, 000 up to N1m while those in the Tertiary Institution category can win up to N2m in scholarship grant. Members of the audience also stand a chance to win instant cash prizes in the Treasure Box segment and viewers can also win recharge cards by playing the home quiz.

Designed as a fun way of learning, the show seeks to inculcate in students an appreciation for studying and hardwork in order to develop good leadership in Nigeria. The Project Director, Mr Godfrey Osakwe, says that if the Nigerian youth is empowered with sound knowledge the society becomes better developed. He added that the Foundation for Effective Leadership and Development, FELD, the pioneer of this laudable idea, has launched the quiz show to help assist students with the financial demands of securing quality education.

Students are encouraged to text EXCEL to 35811, to secure a chance to participate in the show or send EXCEL YES AUD to 35811 to be part of the audience. Recording of the Senior Secondary School category starts at 8am on Friday, March 8th, 2013 while the Tertiary Institution category will be shot on Saturday, March 9th, 2013. The venue of the shoot is Dream Factory Studio, Onward Complex, Plot Y B Mobolaji Johnson, Alausa, Ikeja.

Already, 10 winners have emerged from the previous episodes, winning various cash prizes.
